Céline Arsenault, CA, CPA | Chair of the Audit Committee

Ms. Arsenault is an experienced financial executive with more than 20 years’ in international business and financial management. After obtaining her designation while at PWC, she held a variety of senior financial executive positions with various public and private companies in logistics, renewable energy, insurance, private equity, electricity and telecommunications sectors. In addition to her extensive background, she brings disciplined financial reporting and governance skills to the board, having served on numerous non-profit boards and committees 

Debra Senger | Director

Debra Senger, is currently CEO and SPIC of PhyeinMed Inc. a Health Canada Licensed Producer. Debra became active in medical cannabis over five years ago, and has been an active participant in many avenues of the cannabis industry development. Prior to this, Debra spent over 30 years in public companies in various officer, board and director roles, leading management teams both in North America and abroad. Additionally, she was instrumental in leading capital raises for mining, Oil and Gas, and construction companies. In addition to Heritage, Debra is involved in several private companies as a director or owner.

Clint Sharples | President & Director

Mr. Sharples is a partner in First Growth Management (FGM), a small private equity management company formed in 2005. Clint’s primary roles for FGM include President and CEO of Modu-Loc Fence Rentals since 2009 (his role is to lead the overall corporate development and implementation of the strategic direction). In addition, Mr. Sharples is the Chairman of other companies in which FGM has invested, including Strategic Aviation Services Ltd., Sky Café Ltd., US Pressure Test Inc. and US Casing Services Inc. Clint’s executive career began in 1995 when he was made Executive Vice ‍‍‍President of Superior Management Group, a national wood pallet company, and was instrumental in its growth, until its sale in 1998 to IFCO Systems. Clint became President of IFCO Canada in 2002 and led a management buyout in 2005, creating Paramount Pallet Inc. Clint served as CEO of Paramount until its sale in 2011.  

Graeme Staley | Director

Mr. Staley is the CEO of Purefarma Solutions Inc. (“Purefarma”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Heritage. He began extracting over 5 years ago via his personal license, where he designed extraction and formulation processes. Utilizing his background in refrigeration and mechanical engineering and winery operations he has developed commercial standardized processes relevant to the new cannabis industry. Mr. Staley provides the technical direction and execution of the team’s strategies based on over 20 years of project related experience. His extensive experience in alternative and sustainable energy system design, installation and operation and as a proven project manager with senior design experience in refrigeration and associated mechanical disciplines has given him specialized skills in the coordination between innovation and implementation. 

Donald Ziraldo | Chairman of the Board

Mr. Ziraldo’s passion and determination have been a central force in the emerging success of the Canadian wine industry. As co-founder of the Inniskillin winery in Niagara-On-TheLake, Ziraldo was granted the first winery license in Ontario after prohibition. His talent and perseverance have helped to make Canadian icewine a globally recognized luxury brand. A dedicated ambassador of Canadian wines, Ziraldo was founding chair of the Vintner’s Quality Alliance (VQA), Canada’s regulatory agency responsible for maintaining the integrity of local wine appellations. Among his many acknowledgments, he holds an honorary degree from both Brock University and University of Guelph and is a Member of the Order of Canada. He was named one of the top twenty-five Canadian CEO’s of the Century by the National Post Magazine. Ziraldo continues to be hailed as one of the most important figures in Canadian wine history. Daniel Phaure, CA, CPA | Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Phaure has held key leadership roles with a number of companies within the renewable, technology and infrastructure sectors. Over his 20 year career, he has consulted and advised numerous companies in North America, Europe and Asia, providing strategic guidance in relation to M&A activity, capital transactions and operational changes. As a result of his corporate and capital markets background, he brings a senior leadership skill set to Heritage that will drive the buildout of our current and future opportunities as well as the diligence and execution of our partnership strategy. Mr. Phaure has also served on various boards with exposure to both Canada and US.   

Erin Prohaska, CA, CPA | Chief Financial Officer

Erin Prohaska has an extensive career leading finance and operations teams in diverse industries.  Prior to joining Heritage, Erin was the CFO of a multinational consulting engineering firm with over 2500 employees.  Prior to this, she managed and advised notable Family Offices on their finances and business holdings, including venture capital funds.  Her career started at Deloitte, where she advised clients on both domestic and international tax issues.  While working at Deloitte, Erin also earned her Masters degree in Taxation.  

Elizabeth Thomas | Corporate Secretary

Ms. Thomas takes on the additional role of Corporate Secretary, a position she held at CannaCure before it was acquired by Heritage.
